Launching Phi Mu Serves 2015!

On this MLK Day of Service, Phi Mu is excited to announce Phi Mu Serves 2015, a call to all collegiate members to individually lend at least 12 hours of service in their communities by the close of the 2015 spring semester.

What better time to commit to helping others in need than on the day our country dedicates to community service?

The Creed of Phi Mu directs us to “lend to those less fortunate a helping hand,” “be to others what we would they would be to us” and “minister to the needy and unfortunate.”  Imagine the impact of over 15,000 Phi Mu collegians reaching a grand total of at least 185,200 hours by May 1, 2015!  With this combined, concentrated effort over the next four months, there is no doubt that the power of Phi Mus living our Creed will leave a lasting impact on individuals in need nationwide.

We look forward to sharing your experiences during this initiative here on the blog and in social media, so please post your community service experiences using #phimuserves and email your photos or narratives to info@phimu.org.
