Action Steps

Below are action items that can benefit members struggling in this area:

  • Develop SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely)
  • Identify a study space that is free of distractions
  • Create weekly check-points
  • Develop a weekly schedule
  • Utilize a study buddy/group
  • Implement note taking strategies
  • Increase physical activity to help with stress and exhaustion (i.e. attend Yoga class)
  • Utilize the student success center or student learning center
