Below are action items that can benefit members struggling in this area:
- Develop SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely)
- Identify a study space that is free of distractions
- Develop a weekly schedule to help manage your time and prioritize your tasks
- Utilize the student success center or student learning center on campus where you can attend mini-sessions to develop better study skills, organization, note taking skills, etc
- Write it down: make a To-Do list
- Set a time frame in which to accomplish a task and set reminders so you meet this task
- Combined similar activities together
- Avoid activity overload
