Cocktails and Conversations is a new tradition that allows Phi Mus from the area to get together for a night of fun. With only eight days until Cocktails and Conversations: Charlotte, we wanted to give you eight reasons why you should go!
1. Free Food
No, seriously, there isn’t a catch, just some great food that always tastes better when it’s free!
2. Free Drinks
What’s the one thing better than free food? Free drinks!
3. Networking
Whether you’re new to the area or have been there for a while, Cocktails and Conversations is always a great place to network and make new friends. Being surrounded by a hundred other women who share the Phi Mu bond ensures unlimited opportunity.
4. It’s like a Mini-Staycation
Cocktails and Conversation allows you to get away from reality for a few hours. Forget your cares at the door, and enjoy everything the night has to offer!
5. The Activities
With the holidays sneaking up, what better way to prepare? One of Charlotte’s favorite pastry chefs and Phi Mu alumna, Laney Jahkel-Parrish, will teach you how to prepare delicious holiday treats. You could even be chosen to help her on stage as she puts a fun spin on traditional holiday desserts.
6. The Venue
This Cocktails and Conversations will be hosted at Johnson and Wales University – Charlotte, the same university that taught Chef Graham Elliot and Chef Chris Santos. Aside from being the alma mater to world renowned chefs, the beautiful campus makes the perfect spot for a night out.
7. Gifts Galore
Unfortunately, Oprah won’t be stopping by to give away her favorite things, but you’ll still leave with some Phi Mu favorite things!
8. Excuse for a GNO
Cocktails and Conversations is the perfect excuse for a girls night out – not that an excuse is ever necessary. Wednesday is for the girls!
Whatever your reason is to go to Cocktails and Conversations, we can’t wait to see you there!
