Phi Mu Miracle Market

Phi Mu Fraternity is excited to launch our newest alumnae initiative and service event for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Miracle Market!

Join us on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., as we kick off this event to rally Phi Mu alumnae around Le Bonheur children and their families this holiday season!

About Miracle Market

Following the exciting announcement at convention of Phi Mu’s commitment to raise $10 million in 5 years for CMN Hospitals, the Alumnae Engagement Department developed the Miracle Market initiative to encourage alumnae to get involved with their local hospitals.

The first Miracle Market is taking place in Memphis. Each year, more than 250,000 children are treated at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Phi Mu’s Miracle Market will provide fun activities and opportunities for children and their families to experience some holiday cheer. Children will be able to make gifts for their families at a variety of stations and a selection of gifts will be available for families to give to their children at no cost.

We take care of children that are born with a heart defect, patients needing heart transplants or any other type of heart problems.

I love CMN Hospitals because I have seen first hand how they not only care for the children’s physical well being but also their mental and emotional health. There is always something going on to help encourage the kids to be kids like game shows, fun parties, and crafts.

Being able to work for a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital gave me such a deeper love for my career and a closer connection to Phi Mu. I get to go to work knowing that I am fulfilling my purpose in life while living out the values Phi Mu shared with me. I am so grateful that I was able to volunteer and fundraise for the kids that I now get to see and take care of every day.
